ALAN CAMPBELL

Fair Play – James Michael Alan Campbell, 47, husband of Amy Wood Campbell, 911 Doc Wood Road, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at Oconee Medical Center.

A native of Oconee County, he was the son of Gerard and Jane Rogers Campbell of Walhalla. Mr. Campbell was a retired HVAC Technician and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman and a member of the Outdoors Without Limits Club. He also attended Fairplay Church of God.

Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include a son, Brady Keith Campbell (Kristina Gee) of Fair Play; brothers, Brian Campbell (Jill) of Walhalla, and Jason Campbell (Kim) also of Walhalla; four grandchildren, Kadence, Peyton, Hunter and Urijah; parents-in-law, Billy and Brenda Wood; sister-in-law, Kelly Bunton (Derek); and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm, Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Fairplay Church of God. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm, prior to the service and following the service at the church.
