Obituary for Hazel S Martin

HAZEL MARTIN

Seneca – Hazel S. Martin, 71, of 215 Pebble Creek Drive, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018.

Born in Toccoa, GA, she was the daughter of the late Grant and Sara Turpin Standridge. Hazel retired from Torrington after 15 years, was a hairstylist, and also worked for Walgreens in Seneca. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include a son, Shawn Martin (Donna) of Seneca; daughter, Melanie Martin of Westminster; brother, Doug Standridge; sisters, Louise Payne and Polly Thomas; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Lynn Martin; and brother, Jay Standridge.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm, Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
