Obituary for Mozelle James Dyar

MOZELLE DYAR

Seneca – Mozelle James Dyar, 93, widow of the late Wilburn E. Dyar, 402 Woodland Drive, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Oconee Medical Center.

A native of Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Curtis and Inez Crenshaw James. Mrs. Dyar retired from JP Stevens and was a longtime member of Utica Baptist Church and attended Seneca Wesleyan Church. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart and soul and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include a son, Steve Dyar (Barbara) of Fair Play; sister, Edna Hembree (Ernie) of Anderson; four grandchildren, Allison Clardy (Chad), Cindy Sandifer, Willie Dyar (Bridgette) and Luke Moss; and five great-grandchildren, Cole and Jacob Clardy, Tyler and Bethany Hedglin, and Emilee Moss.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Emily Anne Moss; and many brother and sisters.

A memorial service will be held 3 pm, Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Sandifer Funeral Home.
