Obituary for Wallace Earl Cobb Jr.

WALLACE COBB, JR.

Fair Play - Wallace Earl Cobb, Jr., 40, husband of Joann Blackwell Cobb, 1529 Hwy 182, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018.

Born in Stephens County, GA, he was the son of Wallace Earl Cobb, Sr. and Diane Hamilton Cobb of Fair Play and worked for Jet Commercial.

Survivors in addition to his wife include sons, Jamie Freeman and Tristan Freeman; daughters, Kera Reshale Moore and husband Christopher Logan Moore, Destiny Freeman, and Candus Wilder; sister, Tammy Cobb; grandchildren, Deanna Wilder and Michael Wilder; a nephew, Brian Garrett; and brother-in-law, Terry Blackwell.

Mr. Cobb was preceded in death by four grandparents, infant son, Curtis Cobb, infant nephew Gene Thomas; and mother-in-law, Myra Blackwell.

A funeral service will be held 4 pm, Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Friday, March 2, 2018 at Sandifer Funeral Home.
