CHARLES “DANNY” DANIEL CANTRELL

Westminster – Charles “Danny” Cantrell, 73, loving husband of Mary Joe Arp Cantrell, passed away May 10, 2019 at Oconee Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.

Born in Mineral Bluff, GA, he was the son of late Arnold Mark Cantrell and Lois Rider Johnson. Danny was a retired contractor and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Cantrell is survived by a son, Darrell “Jed” Cantrell of Westminster; daughter, Kay Jones and husband Tony of Westminster; brothers, Mike Ballew and David Rider of Georgia; and three grandchildren, Lane Jones, Jadon Jones and Katlin Cantrell; and special friends whom were like family, Chelsea and Brandon O’Kelley and Gavin James.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cantrell was preceded in death by a brother George Ballew.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm, at The Martin House, located next to Sandifer Funeral Home.

The family is at their respective homes. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made in honor of Danny to a charity of one’s choice. Condolences may be expressed online by visiting www.sandiferfuneralhome.com
