Obituary for Glennette Miller


Glennette Williams Miller, 88, of Seneca, SC passed away on Monday, September 24 following a brief illness. Nette, as she was more commonly called, was born in Greenville, SC to Jesse and Ruby Williams. She grew up in Lyman, SC, lived in Gainesville, GA and then finally settled in Seneca. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest Lee Miller, her parents and her brother, John Kenneth Williams.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Miller Phillips of Seneca, her grandsons Gary Christopher Phillips (Susan) and Michael Kevin Phillips (Michelle), and three great grandchildren Miller Anne Phillips, Garris Baylen Phillips and Avin Lee Phillips, all of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Nette was devout in her Christian faith and found great joy in being a Gran to her grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Sandifer Funeral Home of Westminster, SC on Thursday, September 27 from 6 to 8 pm. Graveside services will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville on Friday, September 28 at 3 pm.
