Obituary for Rosezell Catherine Holcombe


Westminster – Rosezell Catherine Holcombe, 82, widow of the late Jessie Holcombe, 141 Burnt Tanyard Road, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at Seneca Health and Rehab.

A native of Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Eula Qualls Bottoms. Mrs. Holcombe retired from Sangamo where she worked for over 30 years.

Survivors include a son, Scott Hamby of West Union; daughter, Elaine Putman of Seneca; sister, Mozell McCauley; three grandchildren, Aaron Hamby, Kimberly Putman, and Pamela Ventura; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Odell Bottoms; and granddaughter, Michelle Putman.

A memorial service will be held 4 pm, Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home. The family will have a family and friends gathering following the service at Mountain View Baptist Church.
